What comes from us isn't just a good shoe. The packaging it arrives in is right too. From the cardboard of the box to the shipping itself, we make sure everything meets current legal standards. Our ecological footprint goes far beyond the shoe itself. That's why you can rely on us to take all the necessary precautions when it comes to packaging – the ones that matter and the ones that are required.
Packaging free of harmful substances.
Our shoe boxes are made of corrugated cardboard. They contain no harmful substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury, or hexavalent chromium. They're also 100% recyclable. That closes the loop, without you having to give it a second thought.
New Packaging Regulation
Why are we sharing this information? Since August 2025, the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) has been in effect. Across the EU, it regulates how packaging must be designed to be classified as recyclable. Accordingly, it must not contain any hazardous substances such as heavy metals and must be fully recoverable at the end of its life. For you as a customer, this simply means: more clarity and certainty about what's really in our packaging.
We're committed.
This isn't an empty promise. We can confirm that our boxes are made of FSC-certified corrugated cardboard. The heavy metal levels (lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium) are well below the legal limit. No animal-derived raw materials, genetically modified organisms, or nickel and cobalt compounds are used in production. As a result, our packaging is also 100% recyclable in terms of material. We have signed the corresponding declarations of conformity.
